Ladies and Gentlemen, the end of times is upon us. And this time, I mean it. The final sign has come to pass. The sign? Fox’s Hole in the Wall. I happened to catch an episode last Sunday, and holy shit. Is this what we have become? Seriously?
The rules of the show are as follows: There’s a wall. It has a hole. You (the player) try to go through the hole. That’s it. If you succeed, you win. If you fail, you lose. And everyone in the audience has to live with the memory of what they just witnessed.
In essence, Fox’s new game show rewards people who’s only distinguishable talent is their ability to occupy some space, and not occupy some other space.
To be fair, this wasn’t dreamed up in America. Apparently, it started in Japan. Now I don’t know much about Japanese culture*, but what I do know leads me to believe that the Japanese version was probably much more awesome (NSFW).
*What I know about Japanese culture:
Now I’m not claiming what Fox is doing is a crime, but I’ll say this: After the show was over, I had half an hour less life left than I had had before I began watching the show, and somebody at Fox is richer for it. It just doesn’t seem fair is all.
I feel any religion needs a set of guidelines. I chose 10 because of it’s obvious biblical reference, and allusion to power is usually enough to suck in the ignorant masses.

So I’ve taken about twenty seconds to read Joe’s updates. I’ll admit, I’m a little drunk at the moment, and usually I take a little more time to actually read what he’s said. From what I can decipher, he’s posted about the inauguration, and his take on it, and that’s great. I’m glad to see my compatriot has taken more intestest in the world at large than I currently have.
In reality, right now, I could give a shit less about what’s happening on the planet. What it all boils down to is this:
From what I’ve discovered, rootbeer is definitely a viable mixer with whiskey in the absence of coca-cola. Definitely. I’m not fucking aroud folks. THIS, may just be a gold mine. One second while I seek a second opinion with my taste buds…
Yes, even with a minimal amount of rootbeer (I was too lazy to get another can of Mug and had more whiskey than rootbeer left in the can), It seems that the rootbeer after-taste seems to somehow off-put the initial shock of Jack Daniels.. yes, I shall take a moment to experiement further…
It seems that the ice melting in the glass, combined with the rootbeer stunted after-taste makes this a stunning, yet un-estimatable drink.
